Wassup just got myself into a brand new 2002 black w/red interior s2000. I traded in my 2002 tl-s for this car and i must say this thing is bad ass!!! I still have yet to put her pass 5000 rpms due to break in and she still hauls ass.

I had a questions for you guys, whats the widest tire i can put on the rear of the s2000 if I didn't lower it. I also don't want to have to cut anything or roll my fenders. Im planing on getting 17 inch racinghart c2's. This is what i had planed.
Front 225 45 r17
Rear 255 40 r17
What offset should I get? Whats the lowest i can get that safe? thanks for the help.

Welcome John and congratulations on a great purchase. As for tire mods, etc. -- my advice is to enjoy the car as is. After break in if you haul ass you will go through the OEM tires in less than 10,000 miles. Consider upgrades and mods then.
