Default New Member...hello to all!

Hey guys,
Just wanted to say hi...Im new around here, but not necessarily new to the 'enthhusiast' side of the car market. I'm currently beginning my research for a new car and the S2K is at the top of the list (along with the 350z and RX8).

I must admit, most of this forum is filled with very knowledgeable people and some great posts! Much more akin to the AudiWorld forums I'm used to (i.e. true gear heads with minimal bias).

In any case, just wanted to say hi! I'm not very informed on Honda specific information, but if any of you ever need info on Car Stereo's, Audi/VW or even Lexus IS300 stuff...let me know. Oh, I also sold Acura's for a while...so I have some inside 'tips' on buying new cars.

I owned a Civic that was featured in Car Audi and Electronics (competed in IASCA), had a 99 Audi A4 1.8T (coil-overs , chip etc), a Lexus IS300, and a VW Gti 1.8T (coil-overs, chip, wheels etc).

Anyway...thanks for all the information that has already been posted...it has made my life much easier in regards to finding info. on the new S2K.

I look forward to joining your ownership ranks in the near future.

take care

^^ thanks man.

yeah I read through that post the other day!

I have my own list of pro's and con's. For me though its more a matter of telling myself I'm ready to move to a pure sports car as an everyday driver as opposed to a sports sedan (aka, the Audi or Lexus I used to own) or an inexpensive Hatchback (aka, the Gti I currently own...man Layoffs are a bitch).

I'm pretty sure before I get married and have kids I want to own a 2 door, 2 seat sports car. As I don't have to worry about hauling a baby seat or other family members with me. Plus my GF and I would love to take drives through the Virginia country side with the top down!

The last time i drove an S2K was when I worked at the Acura dealer...we had a black used one on the lot. Took it out for a 'test drive'. That was more then a year ago, and I can still remember how fun it was! Never have I experienced another car quite like it...yet.

thanks again for the info.

later
