Default new member with questions

just took my first ride in an s2000. Needless to say I will be trading in my a4 for one in the next few months.

1} how many miles should the car come in with? {I was allowed to drive a brand new car. was it waiting for the owner to pick it up?}
2} do the lip spoiler and rear spoiler actually help with handling?, does the lip spoiler come painted?
3} how far will Honda allow performance modifications to go b-4 you void your warranty.

LOVE this car

How does Sebring silver with red sound?

Did I mention I LOVE this car?

1) Mine had 7 miles on it when I drove it home...4 of which was my test drive.

2) Probably not, but they do come painted (even if you order them from an aftermarket parts dealer).

3) Better left for some of the guys who have modded their cars...mine is stock.

Hope this helps. Have fun. Be safe. And...welcome to the club.

Congrat and cant wait till you get one.

1. Dealer car usually shall be 50 and under.

2. very little. Its all the look, I wouldnt pay to get the side strike but front and rear is a plus.

3. You can put on sticker...that wont void warranty. Hahaha

Silver and BLK!! Red is not my favorite (IMO)

When you say Silver with Red interior are you aware the ENTIRE interior is red? The 2-tone red/black is no longer available here. Just checking - would not want you to be surprised. If you do a search on this site you will find pictures of the 2002 red interior

Reese,

Regarding your question about chin spoiler. It is VERY low. I scratched the heck out of mine the first week. Had it repaired and repainted by a friend who does body work. It came out great. The only problem was when he removed the weather stripping to prepare it for painting, it did not come off in 1 piece and has to be replaced. The problem then becomes where to find it. I have been searching for 3 months and can not find a source. Honda's reply was "it comes with the spoiler and is not available separately" I am probably going to have to put it back on without the weather stripping or buy a new spoiler.

Bottom line. Be VERY VERY careful.
