A 200X Mustang GT was in front of me at the light and I had a feeling that he was going to take off.

When the light went green he floored it and I just did a normal 2000rpm launch and he jumped and by the time I got into vtec it was about even the whole time..

He chirped in first, second and third!!! Insane.

Pretty fast car! I would have like to have been beside him and do a 6000rpm launch.

Those cars are like 260HP
Next time.

Rob

Thanks

Nothing wrong with a Mustang that an entirely new chassis wouldn't fix

You tell him Unicron! Mustangs are like lunchmeat down here in Houston.

It needs a little more then just a new chassis. How about remove the radiator cap and replace the rest.

Aw, just because the seats are uncomfortable and the shifter requires a long reach, and the bodywork is crude, is that any reason to be so drastic?

The new Stangs will do 0-60 in 5.3 with a 13.8. They're pretty fast. I raced an SVT (i think 98) and he slowly pulled away from 50-75. But they do have like 65 more hp and twice the engine-
