Hey folks. I just bought an S2000 yesterday and I'm loving it so far. It's a black on black 2000, pretty much basic with no mods (yet ). I've been scanning the forums and FAQ the past week or so when I was looking seriously into purchasing the vehicle. Thanks for some of the good info I was able to collect - and use talk myself into buying the car.

Anyway, a quick introduction: I'm 22, and a student at the Univ. of TN. I graduate on the 15th of next month!! (The s2k was kinda a graduation present to myself...) My degree is in Computer Science and Math. I've already got a job lined up, so I'll be staying in the Knoxville area for now.

I was excited to see the Dragonball Run next spring down here in my area. I don't know what all is involved with that, but i'm going to post a question on that thread (please hop over there if you know enough about it to answer general questions).

I'll try to post some pics of my car as soon as we get a pretty day here in TN. Of course the weekend I get a new car would be the first time it rains in about a month...

Have a good weekend.

David

Congrats and welcome. Pics are always wanted here on S2Ki as you might have seen. This site is pretty amazing if you're new to it so explore it and you'll learn tons!

By the way, is it a 2002 model?

Phi Beta Kappa is an honor society. Pi Mu Epsilon is a mathematics society. (math and computer science are my majors...) Neither one is exclusive for membership.

Well, we finally had it. It was a beautiful day here in the South. I got a chance to really cruise around a bit and enjoy the sunshine. Outstanding.
