About to go to the dealer today and cancel this stuff. Someone told me the warranty is worthless. I checked some threads and I doesn't look good. Anyone have a strong opinion on them or experience good or bad?

The warranty is practically (if not completely) useless.

Also, buyer's remorse laws should allow you to effectively 'remove' those items. Though I'd see if they wouldn't just go for the original price they told you the items were... now that you've called them on it.

I *never* buy the extended warranty for anything. I am easily $30k ahead in my lifetime over what all these charges would have cost. Never *ever* let the finance guys sell you *anything*. Whatever it is will be overpriced...guaranteed. You can always go and get any of these extra services or accesories from someone else for less if you absolutely have to have them.

These guys are good at what they do...prying a few more of your hard earned dollars out of your bank account.

Be aware. Be diligent. Just say no! (and keep saying it no matter what)

The pain of the finance man will wear off quickly. Put the top down whenever you can. VTEC frequently. Smile as you watch the suburbanites commuting to work in their Camry's. Good luck with your new car. Have fun! (I know I am)

I believe you have up to 60 days to cancel the extended warrenty.

Enjoy your car

Don't hold your breath on this............They get paid to it and would get their "ass chewed" if they didn't! My advice to anybody purchasing a new car is to say "No Thanks" to anything/everything the finance guy trys to sell you!

Ok, so heres how it went today at the dealer. They took the blue tooth off ($595) no problem, they claim the $350 he quoted me for was for the LoJack early warning system. It doesn't matter they took it off I'm happy about that. The warranty I can cancel if I want and will do some more research before I decide. So I am happy with that. The LoJack I am stuck with, and seeing how I didn't take the time and question every line on the contract I can't complain too much, my fault. The slip that said they charged me $595 for an alarm was the blue tooth but it hasn't been updated on their computers yet so he just marked it as alarm. The sales manager Simon at Keyes Honda in Woodland Hills took pretty good care of me. I actually worked with him about 14 years ago and he was trustworthy guy back then and still is. After some of the mix ups were cleared up I feel I came out with a fair deal on the car. I could have done better but that was my fault for just jumping in with both feet. It is hard not to get excited when you are in there and decide to make the plunge. Never let you guard down and take your time ask questions about every item on the contract. Don't just gloss over it like I did.

I made the same mistake when I bought my S. The finance guy convince to get the lip spoiler for 600 bucks including installation. I was just too excited and couldn't refuse it.

Thanks for the info fastD. And thanks to all those who posted.
I tried to sleep but I can not clear my mind enough to do it. I guess I am going to load up photoshop and edit some pics of my car for a signature or something.
I hope they don't give me any trouble and I hope this financing guy gets his ass chewed to save others in the future from these creeps. Me and a my friend bought 2 of these cars within one week! I would think they would have the courtesy to not gouge me on this stuff but then again I should have know better. Oh ya one more thing I caught was he charged me $595 for alarm if I am reading these documents right, their web site advertises $399. I will go down to the dealer tomorrow and give them a bit of time to give me a fair value for these items. If not I give them a piece of my mind right there in the show room, hopefully there will be lots of other customers inside looking at cars.
Just pretend you are Samuel L. Jackson in Pulp Fiction and you'll do fine.

If they did overcharge make crazy demands and try to get items at a discounted price.

Request to speak to the owner of the dealership if your request go unanswered.

If you get what you want I KNOW that you will sleep better!

Hey, I never heard of a bluetooth adaptor for the s2k. Tell me more. Where can I get one of those? How well does it integrate with the stock stereo?

The finance guys are the final sell point, they use tons of pressure techniques...you have to understand that. Here are a few of the techniques they use, talking FAST, so you have no time to think. Talking in an authoritative manner, well, because people just melt under authority, create a need out of a want, they also exaggerate etc etc. When I bought my Honda Accord, I just kept saying no, no, no, no to everything he said. At the very end, he was like, damn, you are good.
