New Owner Alert
I also agree totally about the Meguair's products. I've used nothing else on my 94 Integra daily driver (purchased new) and it still shines up pretty good, despite all the dings and dents from parking lots, etc.
I just purchased a used 2000 S2000 (3000 miles on the odometer) a couple of weeks ago. The previous owner apparently liked automatic car washes: small scratches and swirls all over. I spent about three hours Saturday with the Meguair's (wash, swirl remover, polish, and wax) and it looks 100% better than it did before.
I've also been very pleased with the Absorber. I've had it a couple of years and it seems to work great.
Keep in mind that none of this is based on scientific evidence; I just like the way both cars look on the couple of days in the year that I do these things to them.
As an aside, have you put the boot over the top yet? I think it took me longer to install the thing and then remove it than it took me to change the oil and filter. When I removed it, I actually had to insert a piece of cardboard between the boot and the roll hoops to keep the fastener I'd just wrestled free from latching back as I wrestled with the adjacent one. (I didn't think of this immediately. It is really disappointing to contort your hands to loosen a latch, then start on the next one and hear the one you just freed snap shut again. Several times!) I did learn a lot about the beast, but I imagine that the boot will spend a lot of time in the garage. However, the car does look much better with the darn thing on.

Any chance that the 2002 boot is backwards compatible? I really hate the thing that I got with my (used) 2000.
I'd probably have bought the car anyway, but if the new ones are as bad, everyone who test drives the car should ask the salesperson to install/remove it just to create some bad feedback to Honda. Owners who already plunked down their money often have less influence than salespersons who are trying to move the current merchandise.
