New owner anal retentiveness
^I try not to park far away as it'll stand out when I'm shopping. Makes me feel like I'm showing off or something. I just let me car parked among the crowds.
I don't like when a passenger release the seatbelt so quickly that it hits their side window.

3. Park on the far side of parking to avoid door dings and later see people go out of their way to park next to me while they could have parked so much closer. WTF is up with that?
i can't stand it when that happens.
once i parked in the emptiest part of the lot in the back.. i was on the phone so i sat in the car for 5 mins after parking... doesnt some family guy park his shart-mobile caravan right next to me.. not two spaces away, not in the normal part where everyone else with old minivans park .. RIGHT FREEAKIN NEXT TO ME!!
i actually sent him a gesture in disgust when he got out of his van.
then i moved my car far away from there too!
I've had my S for a year and a half, and I'm still super anal about it. Maybe it's because it's the nicest car I've ever owned. Or maybe it's because it's just such a special car.
Here's my list: Door dings, rock chips, scratches, swirls, people wearing jeans with studs, people sitting on the bolsters, scraping the front bumper, brake dust, people closing the door by pushing on the window, people grinding the heels of their shoes into the carpet, dust, and dirt. Although the last two aren't really an issue, because I'm always washing and waxing it.
My neighbors think I'm crazy. One of them said to me, "why don't you just cover it in saran wrap?"

I implement the trunk rule. All food and drinks goes in the trunk. Regular water is ok.

Also people who need to fiddle with things like air vents, etc.

Front end murdered with rock chips - still care when I wash the car and actually notice it up close
Rear bumper scratched, rear pass. exhaust tip bent, exhaust off alignment - cared for a day and realized it was my fault so I couldn't be mad at the car
Windscreen rattles constantly - Still care
Drivers door rattles when window is down - still care
Check engine light - still care because my honda dealership's mechanics are apparently "special"
Engine shutter with AC on or turning the car off - still care
Wind noise/holes in softtop - stopped caring 3 days ago (hardtop fixed that)
Squeak in the front right over bumpy road - still care
