New Pics of my white 2002 s2000
#11
Newbie on line so I would like to share photos of my white 2001. Just bought in May and my son along with this forum has got me hooked on mods/'enhancements'. My first to enhancements were red 'H' badges and definitely the speaker. I had Polk EX3560 put in. They make a huge difference. Products on order: Ricks leather shift boot, leather console and badge package - r/b body, b/s wheels - Muz mats and dead pedal, MG Racing clear side markers and AEM CAI. ChaChing$$$. This is just the beginning....

yeah the white ones are the least in production, you see very few of them on the road. Its a beauty though. also to answer the licence plate question, I havent been stopped yet, but they do pull over alot in the la area that may be why youi have been stopped already twice.

I had been looking at Corvettes, Z3 and boxters but for $15-20K less I looked at the S2000. Being from the Tampa Bay area I really wanted the Silverstone with Red interior (Tampa Bay Buccaneers colors) but could not find one. I walked into my local dealer and they had a red, yellow and white one on the showroom floor. I really wanted the red interior and once I saw the white with red I just had to have it. No second guesses here!

webestore,
your car looks great!! how difficult was it to clear out the headlights? did you have to use a heat gun? if so, where did you get it from?
also, are the red honda emblems you put on OEM? if so, where did you get them from and how much did you have to pay?
thanks in advance!

the light were cleared with a heat gun, you can purchase it at any hardware store, but you have to be very careful when your doing it to make sure it is sealed properly

DAR is right about Culver City, CA and its front license plate harassment policy. CC is one of the worst venues in the nation for front plate write-ups.
My guess is they will ignore a real crime in process, such as a little old lady being purse-snatched, if they see a driver with the audacity to run W/O front plates, and immediately attend to him instead of doing real police work.
My .02 and first-hand experience as well.
