My reason for wanting the car discontinued is when I bought mine in '01, the dealership went out of their way to promise that it was a LIMITED EDITION and priced the car accordingly.

I'm STILL fried over being lied to and so are a lot of other people.

However, putting that aside, I'd also like to see the model evolve to an additional model, somewhere between the current s2k and the Carrera GT.

Oh, and at a price of under $50k.

it is limited edition.. less than 10K a yr, though I think it's limited on the demand side and not the supply side.

Yea, right. I was told they would make no more than 10,000 per year for two years. TOTAL.

I have to admit that I had my doubts. After all, they are car salesmen.

But, still....

Honda is going to introduce a sports car in the lineup between the S2000 and NSX.

I don't recall where I read it but I believe it was on www.caranddriver.com, about the new S2000. They said it was possible that it would be introduced in the Acura lineup. Their reasoning was it didn't "fit" with the Honda image.

Is there any knowledge on this? I would assume they would HAVE to be working on something since the a redesign should be coming shortly.
i remember this, and I believe they had also posted some pics with the article. If what they had in the pics was what they plan to come out with then bye bye to m04 because the new design is amazingly sexy. it's all sex. i'm ganna see if i can find those pics.
