New S2000 owner
Just traded in my 2001 Integra Type-R for a Silver w/ Red S2000 that will arrive at the dealership in about a week. Man I can't wait. I originally had a 2000 Trans-AM WS.6 this year that was by far the fastest car I have ever had...(I was running 13.0 stock) but, the handling wasn't there for me and it ended up getting totalled because of problems with the tranny and other problems it had brand new. So I ended up crossing to the import side and seeing what the Type-R could offer. I loved the power plant and absolutely fell in love with the quality, handling, and rev range...but, being from a muscle car background couldn't stand the FWD...even with the LSD it pulled me in all directions. Well, then I heard that the S2000 was RWD and an even higher redline so I went to go test drive one to see if I liked it. After about 3 minutes behind the wheel...well you all know the rest, by far the best driving experience I have ever had. Can't wait till it gets here in a week or so. Just wanted to introduce myself.
Wow! I can't believe you switched that quick.. I guess I can't talk cause I switched from a 2001 Yellow Z06!! I had an SI before that .. there is something about the Honda motor that gets me revved up (ok, lame pun..) Driving the Vette seemed too simple to me..
Not to mention the higher insurance, oil consumption problems and various other issues.....
The Z06 is for sale now!
At least I got a yellow s2k...

Yeah I have had many cars this year...I'm a car freek...in the last year I have had.
72 Chevelle SS
92 Camaro Z28
97 Jeep Wrangler
2000 Firehawk
2001 Impreza 2.5 RS
2000 WS.6
2001 Integra Type-R
2001 S2000
Man I need some help...hehe...best part is I just kept rolling the negative equity into the next car loan and then when the WS.6 was totalled I had GAP insurance so it cleared all my debt...And I got exactly what I paid for the Type-R so I'm still breaking even...hehe
