Default New S2000 owner, already vandalized twice

I just got my 2004 S2000 3 weeks ago. Already i've been egged, which left a nice mark, and just this morning i found out all my center caps from my rims were stolen. It's probably just a matter of time before i find my car with the convertible top ripped open, or rims or headlights stolen. My question is, have any other S2000 owners encountered the same problem? This is unbelievably annoying to me, and i seem to have this kinda crap happen with anything nice i ever get myself. I know for a fact in this case it isn't enemies, it's probably just idiot kids around the neighborhood with nothing better to do. I live in an apartment, so unfortunately i can't garage the car. What can i do here? Fix everything just to have it happen again?? I'm not even kidding if i ever caught anyone doing this to my car, i would grab my gun and shoot them without even hesitating, i don't care if it's a kid. I have so much anger from this kinda stuff happening to me. Anyone else feel my pain here??

I hate people! Set up a video camera in the car and catch them. I would advise against shooting them though.

The only thing you can do is set up a camera or just post out on a window and see the ****ers do shit to your car.

lol That will just attract more attention to see what's in there.

Basically as an apartment dweller you're at the mercy of every asshole on the planet. Stake out your car and get some video for the police.

Also, get a high quality paging alarm with a proximity sensor. You don't want anyone slitting your top and stealing your $7,000 seats. That seems to happen to every S2000 that parks outside at night around here anyway.

Alarm system. Depending on how much you spend, you could get an alarm system that alerts you without the car alarm sounding. This should give you plenty of oportunity to shoot the vandals.

I feel your pain brother... I purchased my 07 in may, and less than a month sssssslllllllaaaaasssssshhhhhhh!!!

Take it easy, that is why we have insurance for. I am also a gun owner, and I would not advise you going up vigilante style and shooting up the place. This is something the S community is used to, unfortunately.

So welcome to your new headache. But its worth it, there is nothing like the S. The S was always destined for greatness from the beginning of creation. Hang in there.

Take care, and hope you get this situation resolved. Talk to your apartment management see what they can do, if there is a "rent a cop", give him a $50.00 so he could look out for your car during the night. I dont know just thinking outside the box. That's what I did, and its working out just fine....
