Default new s2000 owner need suggestions

I need advice for mods header, exhaust, susp, tires and wheels
please give me your opinions plus my wife wants to know what she can get me for my car she says 200.00 limit (any ideas)
Here's what I was thinking as far as future mods

Header- DC Sports (CAN'T SEE SPENDING MUGEN/SPOON MONEY
FOR VERY LITTLE GAIN)

Exhaust- Neuspeed

Suspension- ?

Tires- Bridgestone S03 Pole Positions

Wheels- OZ Superleggras (which way should I go 17's or 18's ?

Thanks in advance

i wouldn't characterize the spoon or the mugen header as little gain - they gain in different places depending on what you're looking for in terms of mods - but they are comparatively expensive. granted for what you can spend on a power combo we put together (see the GB forum) you're a little over half way to an SC with some good, though not spectacular power gains. what you do get from the combo is a better power curve, better driveability, and keeping with the NA reliability of the F20C. i don't know if SC owners had to do any warranty work, but i'd be interested to see if Honda would honor the warranty with an SC in the car.

disclaimer: that was IMHO.

Thanks Mingster I appreciate your advice have read about your X
brace can oil be changed without problems and I take it your suggesting the Spoon header but what exhaust? I would like dual exhaust and enhanced but not obtrusive sound

steve- your wife wont be able to get much from your wish list, but she can get you lucid's rear speakers or rick's console cover... both are must haves IMO.

Going for any N1 catback exhaust setup with Spoon headers is probably your best choice for added performance across the entire powerband especially from the mid-high end range although an increase in exhaust noise. No doubt the car is already noisy from the engine wise and having a proper free-flowing exhaust system is more practical than a twin output type of setup which will not get you the power gains like an N1 setup.

Besides, you save quite a bit of weight as well since 2 mufflers will always be more heavy than 1 and the S2000 is all about being light and fast in a good and professional naturally aspirated setup. That's my suggestion to you for your first increasing powerband modification, however I would recommend you on the other hand to tune the car's handling to suit the way you drive in order to fully understand and extract the maximum potential out of the stock setup would probably sound more profound. It's an easy car to cruise around but it's definitely not easy to be able to drive the car to the maximum potential initially for all owners without some serious driving experience.
