it is perdy much impossible to covert ur pre 02 softtop with a glass... it is better off to replace ur whole soft top cloth with the one with glass rear window

i just replaced mine with oem blue softtop with glass rear window
and it looks a lot better

labor on installation is a lot though!!

yea you can do it. you need to modify the frame with some nylon straps and some rivets (you need a rivet gun to change the top anyway). the instructions are here somewhere. If you can change the top, the modification is cake.

i might just bring it back to honda and have them do it for me...hehehe

im afraid of labor costs tho...would this be a DIY? some say that it will take countless amount of hours to do it alone or with a friend...

thanks!

if you are mechanically inclined, I would say 8-10 hours. less with a friend. you need a socket set and a rivet gun to do the job.

this is a job I would NEVER have a honda dealer do. In fact, i don't think a honda dealer will do this for you.

Nope, no dealer will do this. (some may say they will, but they'll just sub it out to an upholstry shop) Cut out the middleman and find a good upholstry shop yourself and have them do it. I love having the glass, and the shop that did mine said the mods were no big deal. A routine install otherwise that took 3 days.

It's like $700 for the labor and the mod parts though.
