Hehe... I'm gettin tired of the ride from 18's. If I do get some new wheels, it'll be 17's. BTW, does their site list any weight figures for the 17's? I have my eye on these SSR's, and on the Work Emotions.

I dont think they have the weight on the site. I actually lifted them up plus there is a sticker that tells the weight on them.

One thing about these wheels is that with 3 piece wheels, manufacturers can use the same center for two different size wheels to save money. So the 16" wheel may use the same center as the 17" wheel, which doesn't look very good because it has a huge lip. Anyone got pics of these in the 17" wheel size?

OMG, that's just the $hit! Can anybody find out the weights on the 17" versions (17x8; 49 mm & 17x9; 62 mm)? I went on the SSR website & it's actually called Super Black Coat. Is this black chrome (Like blings) or just a black aluminum finish like the silver, regular black & white? jdms2000, please PM the prices on theses (In SBC & black) if u can & weights if possible. Thanks! Also, I notice it says that SBC's an additional amount of money. If these are pretty light then expect a "for sale" thread for some Volk ce28n's soon.

I am going down to a couple of car shops on Thursday. First I have to pick up my Cwest rear spoiler then I am off to the other car shop(the one that sells the SSRs). I do have a contact at the shop and he said let him know how many of you would be seriously interested in these. He said they are made on order so a max of a 2 week wait on the wheels (in any color) the black chrome is the same in price as the others (thats what he told me)
Remember they have white, black chrome, silver, and black. All of these come with the huge multistep lip. I will try and get a pic of the one on the wall for you when I am there. They have a digital camera and it is hooked up to the net.
Also if anyone is interested in black Type Cs in 16, 17, or 18 inch let me know. He can get these light weight wheels also.

What are your thoughts on how the 17" will fit? You think it'll rub with say, 215/45 in front and 245/40 in the rear?
