All free they said it was a recall, along with new brake lights. the top will be in next week. they said the seatbelts were the reason for the holes. i'll find my rec and post the recall #s.

 

Are you sure they didn't say the soft top cover?

I'd guess it was just the cover, Honda isn't known for just handing out new soft-tops for free.....though that would be nice!!

I actually was one of the rare cases where I got an entire new soft top. I was getting an oil change and mentioned that I wanted a new one because of a tiny 1/4 inch cut THAT WASNT EVEN VISIBILE until coming up to the car. The soft top could have been easily repaired but NO QUESTIONS ASKED and i got a new one.
