Exactly...first thing I thought about was the reverse position, compared to pretty much every other aftermarket intake. From what I understand, the reason those aftermarket intakes go to the other side is due to the most air flow in that area. If you look where you have it, more than likely you're just pulling hot air.

Like someone else said, prob will sound good...but you might lose power. I think the design isn't bad though, actually looks good. I'd start over and take cues from the comptech / K&N FIPK. But if you feel it works and it doesn't feel like you lost power, stick with it.

I'm not a fan of those filters, if you look closely at it you'll see some big gaps/openings to let dirt blow through.

Not an expert, but I believe that not having a cone shaped intake is detrimental to performance, no?
