I think used makes a lot of sense. Especially for an S. Many are out there that have very few miles on them because they were someones weekend baby. The Honda CPO program is pretty good...it adds 12k/12 months onto whatever is left of the original warranty and gives you 7years, 100K on the powertrain. Its possible to find one out there, save 8-10 thousand over new, and end up with nearly the same length of warranty you would have had anyway. (In my case, I saved about 10 grand off new sticker, and still had 31 months/30k miles of bumper to bumper plus the extended powertrain.)

I have a friend who owns the local Nissan store and he does a lot of used business. I told him to find me a two year old S with about 15,000 miles on it and no history of collisions. Bingo. Took a couple of weeks. Helps to know someone in the business you can trust. Now I'm the proud owner of a very nice 05 Silverstone/red S. Cool.

I think if you plan to keep it for a long time, it's worth buying. But if you rarely drive it and only plan to keep it for short? Bleh ... buy used

Really, buying used makes more sense $$ wise.......however, try to avoid dealerships. Even if the car is 1 owner......every porter and salesman on the lot has probably beat the car to shit....ive seen salesmen start a car up with their foot on the gas and start revving.....I left the lot.

Use auto trader and Ebay to find a used car 1 owner......the older the previous owner the better=p

I have bought nothing but new cars since 1990 and haven't had any problems with any of them that were not self inflicted. The two previous used cars I bought were another story.

I buy used and save money, but still buy from dealerships to avoid problem cars. Buy a car thats three years old and you'll save huge on depreciation and know the fleet service record, tsbs, etc. Cars do nothing bu drop in value, and a 3 yr old car thats been taken care of will look exactly like a new one imo.
