My mom is looking to buy a new or used car to replace her beater van. I've been helping her out and i suspect that now is probably going to be better than waiting until the end of the year. Anyways, we've been looking at the new Honda CR-V, KIA SUV, and Volkswagen for new cars. I don't like the VW for some reason. Not the looks, just quality-wise. On the other hand, she's thinking about getting a used luxury. I personally like the new Mercedes ML series. But given that Chrysler could be going out of business, its kind of hard to go with MB. What do you guys think is the best bang for the buck right now as far as used and new SUV's go?

GREAT time to buy a car. I was just at a BMW dealership yesterday for shits and giggles and I was amazed at some of the deals that can be had right now. Economy is still having a negative effect on teh car biz. But great for consumers since the deals are just ridiculous.

are you talking about all their cars? used and new? or just new? i found a really good deal on a certified pre-owned bmw suv with extended warranty and life left on the free maintenance. gonna check it out with my mom today.
