Well... We have a new home to share our enthusiasm for the immortal Honda S2000. Personally there are things about the new site that I like, and things that I don't. For instance, why aren't the site sponsors that sell S2000 goods on the first page that comes up when you hit the marketplace tab? But there are other things that I like, such as the new expressions available for posts. What do you guys think?

 

I agree with you that the sponsors forum is 'buried' too many clicks away.

 

Overall IMO the new website is difficult to use. I'm not really sure but it seems as though there haven't been many new events popping up either. I don't know if you could attribute that to new website shock or not. I wan't to hear from more people.

 

I do not have any problems with the new website. I believe it is very nice (in every aspect).

After the initial shock of having the wrong browser and not being able to see anything I have adjusted nicely to the new site.

With all changes there are good and bad points, overall I have made the adjustment and life is fine.

I wish the sponsors were not so well hidden
I really wish my regions forum was not so well hidden
I like the new smilies
I like the search engine; it seems stronger and more reliable
I like My S2000 area better
And I clearly have yet to have the time to appreciate all the new features.


I tip my hat to those responsible for the changes.

 

The thing that I miss is the "Active Post" tab.
Am I just not seeing it?

I'm certainly not trying to say that the new site is bad. infact I think, overall it is an imrovment over the last site. Like anything else in life, it just takes a little adjusting.
