Default New Wheels

hi all,

by back tyres are going to be needing replacing very soon, and appertly i have shite ones on the front from when i bought it. So i thought, instead of buying 4 tyres, it surly couldnt be much more to buy a wheel and tyre package, as i want to get different alloys anyway.

Problem is i cant decide on what colour goes on a yellow s2000. I used to have rota flights, in gunmetal and a polished lip on my del sol and i loved them so im definatly after something with a polished lip.

Anyone got any suggestions, or pics of yellow s2k's with different alloys?

thanks in advance

I'm not sure about your above statement that a set of wheels and tires couldn't be much more than just a set of tires???
A nice set of wheels and tires mounted etc is going to cost you close to $1500-2000. I'm pretty sure that you can get a set of tires for A LOT cheaper than that.

Looking on the rota website there are wheels alot cheaper than that.

i've spoken to people who have ordered from there before and they got a tyre and wheel package for not much more.

I've been quoted around

I went a couple weeks ago and ordered wheels and tires for my S. Total cost out the door - $4,000. I could've gotten a great set of tires for 1/5 of that. My wheels would look good on your car also. Work Meisters, black with a polished lip, 17x8 up front 17x9 in the rear, offset to clear Brembo brakes. A good set of stickies like Potenza S02s or Toyo Proxies T1-R is imporant. The $4,000 also included lug nuts, mounting, balancing, and a laser alignment. Not a bad deal at all.

Yeah, this is more along the lines of what I was talking about. If your going to buy a wheel don't settle for something really cheap. You get what you pay for.

The wheels in the link you have up there only come in 17x7.5. What are you going to run in the rear? Our cars are made to run a staggered wheel setup.

As far as color, I think gunmetal, dark bronze, or gloss/flat black would look good on yellow.
yeah i know the ones in the link are not right, they were just an example of the style i was looking at.

You do get what you pay for your right, prehaps i should save a little more i think.

Still any pics of wheels on a yellow s2k would be much appreciated!
