So I know it's a newbie question, but what do you think of this header?

Before I get Flamed:
Reasons I like it:
CARB LEGAL!!!!!!!! (I live in CALIFORNIA, everything is illegal here)
SS
PRICE$$
Weight (compared to stock)

THINGS MIGHT NOT LIKE
Not to sure on DC Quality (so many different opinions)
Not Much HP Gain (I will be happy if I Get 1HP Gain)

It is only good for weight reduction. It will not make any power and might actually loose peak HP.

CARB is its best point, but I would go with comptech if I were looking for a CARB legal header.

I was somewhat worried about CARB to, I would recomend the Mugen header, it is not CARB approved, but it comes with a heat sheild that covers the header (cops might not notice, but if you get reffed they WILL notice)

 

DC is a waste of money IMO.

rick's seems to be the best choice since it performs as well as the mugen but costs 1/2 as much. dont go cheap and lose hp/tq. some of the stock stuff in your s2k right now is actually pretty good.

 

DC's stuff is a joke.

 

you will be happy with 1HP gain? what the hell is the point?

 

i checked out Rick's, I like it as well and have heard only good things about it.
however I have still not heard if they are CA carb legal.
remember it's California.
