Post Newbie introduction

Howdy all. My name is Bruce Harris, Jr. I live in Burlington, NC with my wife and daughter. I sell dirt for a living (commercial real estate broker), fifty-three years old. I purchased a new '05 Honda S2000 silverstone/black this past Friday and haven't been 'right' since! In addition to this weapon of mass thrills I also ride/own a BMW K1200LTC and an R1150GS (both motorcycles). My drug of choice is long distance motorcycle riding; visit www.ironbutt.com for details. As soon as my learning curve improves on your site I'll post more and ask mucho questions. Proud to know 'ya!

Welcome to the addiction!

Lots of great information and such can be found amongst these pages. FAQ section is a "must read" if you haven't ventured there as of yet. I read that whole section like 2-3 times over before I ever got close to owning my S and it answered many questions I would've had, and also helped me to better understand many aspects of ownership.

Have fun and drive/ride safe!

Craig

I've never owned a motorcycle (I'm 54), but I have referred to the S2000 as my "motorcycle with training wheels."

Welcome ! I love the phrase "weapon of mass thrills"!

I'm hoping to be an owner of a new 2000 by the end of the week myself.

Enjoy your new ride!
