"New" S2k won't be an S2k as you know it.
You may as well just buy a new Boxster... which is tempting but by no means is it an S2k.
I have only recently gotten into the S2k scene - but I am and have been a petrol head for decades and in that time I have never heard a single legit source of what's to come if anything. Pipe dreams at this point.

I'm just waiting for actual real life information. Not the Could or possibles.

Why waste space on the forum with this garbage?

I've heard they corroborated with Chevy and we're getting a LS9

I heard they were hoping to power it with ferry dust and mythical creatures. But then scrapped that idea for more plausible anti gravity technology. I just hope its light weight

I honestly have no real interest in an "S2000 successor" because there's no way they could possibly make anything like it.

High-output, high-revving NA engines aren't "in" right now, and most likely never will be again.

Sublime manual transmissions with short ratios aren't "in" either, and also likely never will be again.

As an exercise in exciting, top-down action, this new car will probably fit the bill. It'll probably perform better than the S2000 in every quantifiable measure, and get great gas mileage to boot. But it won't be an S2000. That ship has sailed.

Quick Reply: The next-gen S2000 could use the 2.0-liter turbocharged I4 @ 320 HP.
