I've had 2 NFRs - a 2004 which lived until 2007, and a 2007 which lived until 2008. LOVED THEM. LOVE RED. But given the short lives of those cars I can't really comment on paint fading. After being in 3 serious wrecks in red convertibles in 4 years, it seemed like changing the colour might change my luck. I went with Berlina Black and have regretted it ever since. Shows every spec of dirt. I felt my NFRs hid it well, except during the spring with bright yellow pollen.

Black is a bitch to maintain. I have it, but then again I have always owned black cars. You hate them when they are dirty, but there is nothing like a washed, polished and waxed black car.

My second choice would be white.

Paint only fades if you fail to keep a good coat of wax on it.

My black S is tough to keep clean, my Red Accord (San Marino) shows no sign of fade....care for your car, and the paint will look great.

red paint wont fade if you care for it

Two different years of NFR the first is my 03 AP1, six years old. The second is an AP2. Which is faded? NFR is ok, just take care of it like you would any other color.

And if you care, I use Mothers products.

GPW.... everyone always ends up wishing they got GPW
I drove 50 miles past a dealer with a new GPW. Seriously though, I may have bought it if the cockpit had a total black interior. Number #1 priority for me was a black interior.
