It appears that not everyone thinks the "low torque" of the S2000 is a problem. Obviously most of the guys who posted in the above thread seems to understand what a 9000rpm redline is for.

Much more mature than the other group that slamming the car and the owners. Go figure, one is a lexus owners group the other is an MR2 group.....meaning much more likely to have punk kids in later rather than the former.

They seem like a pretty smart crowd.. I guess you can consider our car impractical if it's your only car and have a family of four.. But if it's your second car or dont need the room, it's perfect..

After knowing first hand what SOME MR2 spyder owners have said about our wonderful car, it's extremely pleasing to see what this group has said. I guess higher class cars have higher class owners with higher class opinions.
