Nightmare at Dealership
You can try legal action, but it's your word against thiers, and replacing the clutch shouldn't damage individual gears. This dealership has screwed you, stop going back, never call or talk to them again. Don't let them get another dime. Post their name so everyone else can stay away as well.
Just out of curiosity, what did they say was wrong with the transmition? Have you checked the fluid level? Everything else was low, maybe the tranny just needs more oil. Otherwise, how bad is it? Can you live with it for a few months until you save the money? If not, shop around on the tranny. You've got to be able to do better than $6000, if you go used/remanufactored.

Seems like you should get in contact with a lawyer...
(sorry its not much advice but probably the best)

Did you keep record of the times you went there? If you need a whole new transmission now, then obviously there was something wrong with it before when they said it was fine. They won't admit that?
I would take to another dealership and have them diagnose the problem then with the detailed report on hands I would call that dealership and give them a last chance to fix their mistake. If they refuse call the American Honda, BBB and a local news station and at that point you may want to get a lawer, I would recommend one who deals with automotive cases only speaking of which Kurt Delsac comes to mind he is somewhere in NY you can look him up on the internet, the best automotive lawer I've ever known.
Good Luck.
Good Luck.
I'm reading this and just wondering what happened to the car to require a new engine and clutch before 65k? If it was something you caused, then I have no problem believing that you probably killed the tranny as well. Sorry to sound harsh, just wanting more info.
