Well, it has been a little chilly in Toronto for the past few days so I just went down to start up my Stook and take'er for a few laps around the underground garage.

Turn the key..... NADA!!! (not even enough power to light up the tach.. just a couple of the indicator lights were able to dimly light up)

(and it has only been a week since I last drove it!!)

The best part was when I removed the key and opened the door, she started chiming away like I had left my key in the ignition... and it won't shut up! and I can't boost it until tomorrow.

You guys down south are spoiled!

Ron

Wow, after a week!? I start mine once every couple of weeks and it fires right up and purrs like a little kitty cat! Just did it again on Friday.

I swear, I have the perfect S2000...

But it sure sucks to be in a S2000 Free Zone in the winter, doesn't it?!

Me, too. I've left mine outside in sub-freezing weather for 2 or 3 days and she fires right up on first button push.

Just a possibilty, allthough remote, could it be you left your lights on. Maybe thats what the chiming is? short of that I couldn't tell ya. I started mine on saturday after about a month and it fired first try.

PS. did you see the meets section. Im having a go kart thing if you can make it.

The lights left-on idea sounds reasonanble. Check the position of your light switch.

No... the lights were off.
(It's also a different sounding chime BTW)

I'm thinking it may be related to the Boomerang anti-theft system (it sends out a microburst every 15 minutes so that the car can be tracked).

Really bugs me, though.

Hi Ron,
It most probably is related to the boomerang. I called them and told them I was storing the car and the tech told me I'd have to watch the battery closely. Arg!!
Oh well, better safe than sorry.
