Hmmm...

How closely Geordie?
After my last post, I boosted it and drove around for a good hour.
I went to Montreal for 4 days and tried to start it again when I got back. Again... nothing!!!

I know that the alarm isn't supposed to put that kind of drain on the battery, and if I
go to Honda, they'll blame the "non-Honda" alarm.

What to do???

Ron

It's possible you may have a bad cell in your battery.....it's easy enough for them to check it out.

well greg I have to agree... you have the perfect color! I guess you could say you have the perfect S2000... it just took 2 attempts to get it.

Hi Ron,
I have been recharging it once every couple of weeks. However, you can hawl your battery into any garage they'll tell you if its not holding the charge. Sounds like you've got an electrical "issue". I haven't tried to turn the engine over but my dash lights up and all the electricals seem to work fine (roof included).

Geordie

How about pulling the alarm system's fuse for a few days and seeing if the problem goes away?

Now there's an idea.

I'm going to bring it in to my alarm's installer tomorrow first, just to have a "drain test" done. If they conclude that power drain is "normal", I will take your advice.

Thanks (why didn't I think of that...)

Ron
