Default No more wind noise!

Just installed my hardtop strikers last night to compensate for the wind noise from the softtop at 70mph+.

Took about 10 minutes and best mod i've done! :-P Just wanted to share! (btw, you can replace them without removing the lights, just take out the a-pillars and remove the sunvisor, bend it a little and you can get to the strikers!

Thanks again!

Sounds Great! How do you remove the trim without damaging it? Is the adjustment fixed on the strikers or did you have to move them around until you got it right?

I agree. I did this about 2 weeks ago, and love it. HardTopStrikers from HardTopGuy kick ass! Funny how my local dealers couldn't even come up with a part number?

AND

spessx......the A-Pillar covers just snap into place without damage. The visors are held in by one screw each. The dome light has two screws after you gently pry the lense off with a flathead screwdriver.

Piece of pie!

actually, they are not hardtop strikers per se.

the 2002 and up models have these standard. they are merely the new design with a stronger alloy than the 00-01 strikers. For a part number, search for strikers for a 2002 or higher model.

there is still a slight gap in the driver side roof, but the noise is pretty much gone. and you just screw the strikers in place, there is not room to wiggle it. once position only :-P
