That's what I am wondering. My hard top came with strikers, and they look just like the ones on the 2nd page of the TSB (with a slot in them and a rubber piece). The original ones on my 2003 were an all-metal piece and were slightly larger than the hardtop strikers.

ok i just swapped out for the newer hardtop stykers!!!!
and damn!!!!!!! it is 1000X times better... i remember talking to gf asking her if she can handle all the wind noise on a long road trip, now i dont ever have to worry... it took me 20 mins to install! super easy!
here are the 2, the one on the left is the old one, the one on the right is the new one:

i dont what makes it work... but it is one of the best mods ever... at high speeds it makes no difference... i can actually hear my exhaust over the wind noise

i recommend this to every 2000-2001 s2000 owner if you have not done this!

that is all.. im still so hyper csue of the difference it has made.... put a smile on my face

i ghetto rigged mine just out of the blue this past weekend cuz my gf kept complaining about the noise on the way to dallas.........i just folded some paper and then stuck it in where the hook catches the striker; worked like a charm, but I am going to get the hardtop stikers soon.

Are the hardtop strikers made by Honda? If so, is this something the dealership can order and install on my car? If so, is it under warranty?

Odd, the one on the left is the one that came with my OEM hardtop and the one on the right is what came stock on my '03.

Installed the hardtop strikers and its still making wind noise with the hardtop on. It may be slightly better but for the most part, a lot of noise still leaking. When I look at the car straight in the front, I notice a gradual gap between the hardtop and the windshield right in the center. Anyone experience the same problem? Is it possilby that my hardtop is warped?
