Default No S2000s to be produced in May

The latest Honda Move bulletin states that there will be no production of S2000 in May due to a plant change. Normal production resumes after that. Any ideas to what they are doing?

Retooling to build the S2000-R, of course. Remember, the one with the V6?

Yes, I'm joking.

I think the company maybe looking to restock up on parts and buy them in bulk with a bigger count of orders.
Plus that gives time for the dealers to sell their inventory for more profits.

You all ready said it. They're changing plants. Think about it. The NSX is built in the same plant as the S2000. And we all know that the NSX is about to be changed. They are probably building a new plant for the production of the new NSX.

I think they're moving S2000 production down to Suzuka from Tochigi.

This is great news! Now we can dispense with the MY04 vs. 00-03 debate, and start the Tochigi vs. Suzuka debate.

Personally, I think the Tochigi cars are better, dyno 26 more HP than the Suzuka cars, and are not as "soft". Suzuka starts with an "S" - so does soft - that proves I am right!

I say they should build the S2000 in China, everything is made in China.

Tochigi workers are more dedicated. The S will never be the same again.
