No vtec surge!!??
I find the vtec surge is more or less depending on surroundings and how I'm driving. I have to agree about the torque and how the car feels; stretch it through the vtec zone and it really starts to shift and you can be going a lot faster than you think!
Our other car is a Subaru wrx sti6typer (300hp and 260lb/ft) and you can really feel the push. I'm actually very impressed with the S2000 it puts the scoob to shame with its steering/handling and is a blast to drive. Speed is not that much different either which has supprised everyone. Remember that the S2000 puts more HP to the wheels than the 4wd Subaru.
The S2000 is not too far off a friends ferrari 355 f1 (which is slower than the subaru). The S2000 doesn't compare to the power of a Supra TT, my brother used to drive a slightly modded one and lets just say it was explosive!
We all know the S2000 is about driving, handling and responses that not many other cars can match. BTW yellow + vtec = stares!
Cheers, Mark
