I got the same reply as the other guy. Must be some automated scam. Probably uses it to sell other cars just like that one.
By checking the VIN through Honda you can check where it was purchsed, it's last recorded service, it's current owner, warranty history, etc. It's application here was to ask him a simple question: "where was the car purchased" wrong answer was given, thus it is indeed a scam. But you probably knew that already.

Interesting that he lists Sean Church (Ultimate Lurker) by name. If UL did tune this car, he can probably ID it and contact the real owner that his car is being used for an eBay scam.

In fact, it's likely the real owner is here on s2ki so I wonder, Scott, if you can find the person's screen name based on the real name info you have.
