Default noise coming from 04' hardtop

Anyone with an 04' s2000 out there experiencing interior noise from your hard-top? I'm hearing a pretty loud whisping noise everytime i'm on the freeway going at least 65+mph. Is this normal?

the noise is coming from the top. Actually, without the hardtop and just the rag-top on, its a lot more quiet. The noise has to be coming from some sort of gap on the top. I've tried readjusting the hardtop (such a B#### to do also) over and over but it only fits one way.

In my '00 with hardtop the rear tires and engine noise is more pronounced. No wind noise.

I was getting lots of wind noise with mine and got fed up with trying to adjust the hardtop over and over again. I did mine the ghetto way and just stuff the weather stripping with rubber hoses from autozone so it would get a tigther seal against the window and hardtop. Worked like a charm for me .

That's why I had Hardtopguy install mine - I wanted it done right the first time. that said, I had noise initially when I installed the top a couple of weeks ago for the upcoming winter. Turns out all I had to do was unlatch it and reseat it properly for the front seal.

This stuff ain't rocket science but it helps to have someone experienced do the fitment for the first time. You can do it yourself *if* you spend the time to read the instructions and adjust it properly. It was worth every penny I spent...

I wish we had a hardtopguy in socal. Honda quoted me 700 dollars for the install, so i had no option . Even then, i don't like to let the local honda dealership here perform any work on my car.
