I've had my S2000 for about a week now. I've taken it in to the Dealership for the chatter noise coming from the disk in the clutch and they told me to wait a little while to get it fixed cause it wasn't "hurting" anything. Well just today I turned down my street and there was a loud cluncking noise and it felt like my car was pushed to the side by something. The noise was like there was something in trunk and fell over or something. My question is what could it be? Is it the differential. Thanks for the help!

 

Check the spare tire nut...if it's loose the spare tire can shift around causing the kind of noise your hearing.

 

This is the same sound i had at first with my diff. I think Justin should get it checked out. The Reverend had the same sounds as well.

The spear tire was the first thing I checked and it was all fine. I don't know if I should take it in to the dealership or not cause I don't want to waste my time and say it won't hurt anything just like they did with the noise from the clutch.
