Get new original parts. Do not settle for aftermarket or refurbished parts which the insurance company will inevitably try to force upon you. I have been through this a number of times now. You can win the fight
ok. ima get my car checked out tomorrow. just a quick question, in the event that i get all new parts, what will happen to my cars value since the new parts wont have the VIN number? or is there anyway to get the VIN numbers on the new pieces?

maybe you can get a new style rear bumper out of it
definitely get oem parts. dont let the insurance push you around.
how big is the dent. maybe you can get the ding guys to pop it out and keep the difference in cash.
