well, i drop my car off on monday, im gonna keep the factory parts (rear bumper, trunk lid) the guy told me they ordered both new parts

so on to another question. how hard is it to match GPW? i hear horror stories about the other colors

I would think White would be pretty easy to match. Silver or any other metallic color is a bitch though. I hear that even if its the exact match and you spray it at a diff angle you'll see a diff. So it has to be blended onto he next panel. As long as you know its a good body shop and have examined the work they have done you should be in pretty good shape.

Oh here is another thing! The last time I had body work done I I told the guy I was worried about rock chips taking big chunks off like another car that I had work done to al long time ago(at another shop). The guy said Ill take care of it. He told me after that they baked each coat. Even the undercoats. The paint job was awesome. Much better than the factory paint. Just an idea you may want to explore...

yea. the estimator i talked to said the exact same thing about blending the paint into other panels. its a honda dealership body shop. one of my family's friend works there. i have total trust in his body work abilities and painting skills.
