Whenever I turn my s2k off, it would shudder. It kinda feels like its stalling. Is that normal?

one more question. is it normal for my car to make clunking noises when i am in reverse and i push the clutch down?

yes for both I dont know the technical reasons why but it is normal.... now take a deep breath

i don't notice the noise in reverse and I don't know about shutting down

 

Haven't notice a stall feeling during shut down, nor do I recall hearing some clunking noise when I back up and press down on the clutch. Please have it looked at. It sounds kind of weird.

 

when I turn off my car, it feels like the whole car kind of shakes real quick. I dont know......i think i'll have my dealer take a look at it....

Mine does the 'shudder' too. I believe it's normal.

 

I thought it was normal too untill I read this thread. Now that I read few more posts, my mind is more relaxed....Thanks!!!

 

Mine does it too. It's no biggy.

My 1998 Accord EX did it too. The entire engine shakes a little when you start it too. There are a lot of moving parts in an engine that have to instantly stop, so maybe the momentum from the crank shaft can create a shudder when it stops.
