in 1st gear when doing WOT once the engine reaches the 7k rpm ,looks like the rev limiter kicks in and cuts off fuel prohibiting my car to reach all the way to 9k??..but i tried to drive it slowly occassionally and it never had a problem reaching 9k rpm in 1st gear.seems to happen only when flooring the throttle from a standing start all the way to 9k rpm in first gear,however reaching the 9k rpm with 2,3,4,5 are all okay (havent tried to redline 6 yet )...is this normal?

 

Never drive like this when the engine isn't fully warmed up. Wait until three bars show on the temp gauge, then give it a few more minutes.

 

sounds like the car isn't fully warmed up...

 

Let your engine warm up first.
