Thumbs up Normal feel of the S2000? Body roll?

My S2000 recently feels like the rear of the car has tons of body role and that even taking wide turns around 60 mph I am scared that it will spin out. Feels just really unstable. I checked the tire pressure and it was even all around at about 31 psi. I have stock wheels and tires arrived today which I will throw on. Right now I have 17" wheels with 245/45/17 in the rear and 205/50/17 in the front. The tires in the rear are Dunlop SP5000 tires which are high performance all season. Could those tires give it that feeling?
I can't really remember how it felt before I popped the Zeon summer tires I had on the rear, I'm sure they weren't too good either.
Is there something that can normally come loose and cause this? I get nervous to even take a turn going like 65 mph when it is a really wide long turn. Just feels like if I go any faster it will lose traction. Tires have lots of tread on the back, front it bad so will see if the new wheels and tires make a difference but just looking to see if anyone has any input on it. Or does it always just feel like this but not actually spin out?

what role does the body play? Is it in a play?

I have an 2001 as well, and my car feels the same way around high speed wide curves... I don't know exactly where the breaking point is... There is a specific turn that I take on a regular basis that while going 60 mph I felt that I was about to break loose... but recently realized that I can take that turn at 80-85 mph without any problem... It feels weird though, I know what you're talking about. The 2000 and 2001 S2000s do have problems with the rear snapping out, just be careful and slowly feel it out and get used to it...

Yeah I think I'm going to have to hit up a parking lot or better yet an autocross event or something. Never drove a car that always feels like it is about to spin out before.
Roll I mean haha.

When cornering hard you can feel the back end twitch a little, I think it is due to the LSD the car has. I noticed it more with the car at stock height than I do now though.

It doesn't feel twitchy really, just feels like even when taking a very wide turn around 65 just feels like it will lose grip completely and start sliding. It might be the body roll feeling I guess, but I don't remember when I first got it, having this body roll feel to it.

Definitely try new tires, matching tires in the proper sizes. Bridgestone RE01R are a popular choice. Also, tire pressure should be 32psi cold.

All S2000's have a Torsen Diff... What have I been putting this differential fluid into then

But I do agree with what has been said, it's hard to find the limits of the car. Autox or track

Some people fit a heavier front sway bar to induce a bit of understeer which will counteract this.

You have a MY01. Have you checked the shocks to see if they are worn or blown? Also when was the last time you had the car aligned? If you are putting new tires on the car now is a good time to have your shocks checked and get an alignment. I would suggest the UK alignment specs. It will plant the rear of the car more.

Can anywhere do the UK alignment specs? Does it have to be at a Honda dealership? Or can I just give the specs to anywhere? Like could I bring it to a Sears auto center and give them the specs and have them do it?
