[QUOTE=2003s2k2003,Mar 19 2008, 11:54 AM]My S2000 recently feels like the rear of the car has tons of body role and that even taking wide turns around 60 mph I am scared that it will spin out. Feels just really unstable. I checked the tire pressure and it was even all around at about 31 psi. I have stock wheels and tires arrived today which I will throw on. Right now I have 17" wheels with 245/45/17 in the rear and 205/50/17 in the front. The tires in the rear are Dunlop SP5000 tires which are high performance all season. Could those tires give it that feeling?
I can't

Can anywhere do the UK alignment specs? Does it have to be at a Honda dealership? Or can I just give the specs to anywhere? Like could I bring it to a Sears auto center and give them the specs and have them do it?
Any good alignment shop can do the work, but not all shops can deal with the S2000, so choose carefully.

OK thank you. very helpful. I just put on a set of stock AP1 wheels with Fuzio SRI tires. 205/55/16 in the front and 245/45/16 in the rear. Was raining here so no chance to check out how they felt. Hopefully tomorrow will be better weather.
Thinking maybe the shocks are bad possibly. There is a clunk noise coming from the rear of the car on big bumps sometimes. Might be my exhaust bouncing and hitting something though. Tool set and all are out of the trunk so wouldn't just be something loose in there.
Are the OEM shock Koni's? Did a quick search on some sites and thats what came up. Any place have a good deal on them if in fact they need to be replaced?
By RSB do you mean the rear anti sway bar? Will the link be obvious if it is loose or bad?
I will try to get alignment done tomorrow to so see how the whole combo with new wheels and tires and alignment will be. Looking at my friend tires the right front tire on the inside was completely worn down to a smooth surface and the rest had some tread still. So most likely alignment is off a bit regardless.

The cars OEM shocks are not Koni's. Try the Tirerack.com if you want Koni's or Honda for the OEM shock's.

You should be able to take the specs that you want to a GOOD alignment shop and they should be able to put it in for you.

Looking at my friend tires the right front tire on the inside was then it does sound like completely worn down to a smooth surface and the rest had some tread still. So most likely alignment is off a bit regardless.

Are you talking about your front tires? If that is the case it sounds like your tires need replacing and you need an alignment.

I would get those things done and then see how the car feels. You will be surprised what a new set of tires and a good alignment will do for your car.

Yes I am talking about my front tires. But I replaced the wheels an tires today. I put on a set of used AP1 wheels with used Fuzion ZRI tires. They have around 70% or a little more tread left.
Having it rub off on the inner side of the front drivers side tire, would definitely be alignment correct? Seems to pull a little bit sometimes to the right.

Hard to tell from here. if it is only the drivers side that sounds like an issue. You said that you are going to have the car aligned. I would have that done and then see how the car feels.
Print off the specs above and bring it with you to the shop. Make sure that they give you a sheet of what they did. It should show the before specs and the after specs.

OK I'll try out Sears auto center tomorrow. I'm the assistant store manager for Sears, so very close and convenient. Hopefully they'll do a good job on my car. Friends with the store manager there so should be taken care of I hope. Is there any reason why they wouldn't be able to get those specs? I know sometimes certain places don't have the equipment for certain alignments.

As long as they can do a four wheel alignment you should be fine. Like I said get the sheet of the before and after specs.

Let us know how it turns out.

Some people fit a heavier front sway bar to induce a bit of understeer which will counteract this.
Like a Whiteline bar someone should start selling again.
