Is this normal for our brakes?

I love that this guy is hesitant to take it in and wondering if it's normal...

WAAAA... I don't want to wait around for 2 hours, I'd rather be a road hazard in my brand new $35K car."

Damn I'm glad I don't live anywhere near this guy.

I only read the first post in htis thread. Our cars come equipped with ABS. Mine dun't lock up. A lot of the time under hard braking, the tires will chirp.

When tires are cold and I brake too late, ABS will engage. At lower speeds, you can feel pulsating in the brake pedal.

If your tire(s) are locking up, there is a problem with the car.

Your not making a lot of sense, it's obvious that something is amiss w/your brakes (at least the way your describing it), you just bought a '35K' car and you don't want to wait around for 2 hours to find out if something is indeed wrong??

I'm sorry but I don't think we can help you...........

You think a guy who paid $139k for a GT3 is going to complain about waiting 2 hours to see if his ABS is working properly (maybe, but $100 says he does is anyway)? The logic that you paid 'this' much for a car and expect to NOT have to have things cheked out because of it is flawed.

some peolpes expectations are way beyond the human capacity to err....

Sell it, your abviously not satisfired w/your purchase.

Better yet ...sell it and get something with "better" brakes.

I have an 05 that I changed the OEM front pads to ceramic for less dusting and better feel. I have had no issues with braking at all and in fact I compare the S2000 brakes a close second to the 2006 Mini Cooper we drove.
