It can be. I've done it. I had a 75 shot NX system with the shark nozzel it was a wet system. I perfer the NX brand...but thats me. The fuel "t" that comes with the system is to small you have to get a new "t" I can't remember the correct size....search some of my old posts. You definetly need a bottle warmer. A purge is also a wise investment. I sprayed alot over 200 pounds easy which is over twenty bottles. Its sorta a hassel to fill the bottle and warm it up for correct pressure. You also have to change the plugs. I had the best luck with cheap-o copper plugs. You can use iridium but they can be cranky. DO NOT USE PLATINUM! The ZEX plugs for Nitrous suck...stay away.

The kit does put alot of strain on the engine. My bearings began to wear. Not sure if it was a direct result of the gas but i'm sure it had a part in it.

Its an easy hook-up. Just take your time. Do a search for some of my old threads.

Its not a kick in the pants as you might think. Your not spraying a 150 shot like you would on a ls-1. But a 75 wet shot with the pressure at about 1000 psi can give a nice kick....but not warp speed like. A purge will ensure a nice hammer hit but that is a big jolt to the system. It gets very addicting and like a turbo with upping the boost your temped to turn up the power on a nitrous system either with a higher psi or a bigger shot.

P.S. Get ready to pull the spark plugs on a weekly basis. Its really the only way to really keep on top of what is happening. Master reading the spark plugs and your good to go. I'd change mine every bottle. The porcelin takes a beating on the plugs and are the first thing to pit and break off if your running the slightest bit lean.

Stock fuel pump can handle a 75 shot. I never used a dry kit. The ECU in these modern cars are way to unpredictable for me to trust, to add gas. I perfer a wet kit with its own fuel solenoid.

not to flame at all but our cars just don't have the power down low....but they don't need it if you stay above vtec while racing. If you want a better "feel" of low end power then change out the ring and pinion gears in the differential. If that doesn't satisfy your thirst for speed then you can always still go for the N20....and it does get addicting so be prepared. And if you do go for the N20 try a remote bottle opener. If used the NX one and it always worked like a charm.

This is why I am looking into nitrous right now. I didn't like the lack of torque so I added 4.77 gears and it still wasn't enough.

If you think the S2000 is underpowered proceed with caution; you will be spending a LOT of money to make it faster. I know this from experience

Thanks for the input so far.

Italianbucwheat, are you saying I can run a small shot a stock car.

np2k1s2k, I am not looking for a big kick in the a$$ down low, just something to get the car moving. My friends and I like to go cruising and one has a 350Z and the other has an 06 STi. Granted I wont keep up with the STi, but I want to be able to get off the line a little quicker. After we get moving I have no problem keeping pace.

^If you spray, you'll be able to beat both of your friend's cars.

I guess it depends how much I spray. I am thinking no more than a 50 shot if at all.

if you have the 50 shot and launch very good then you have a nice chance of beating the sti throught the 1/4....if thats what your looking for. I have hear of quite a few sti that run near 13.6's consistantly so assuming that your friend is somewhere near that then you should be very close. Good luck

Plugs, 1 or two steps colder.

Some people would also recommend engine management if you can afford it.
