I use the colgan bra for a weekly commute through rural Mississippi. Before the bra, I used to die everytime I washed the car because the would be yet another 3 or 3 chips in the paint. I have not gotten any since I bought the bra. I only use it on the days I do the commute. I keep it stored in it's box. Before I install it, I make sure the car is clean (it always is anyway because I am such a freak for cleanliness). I wipe down the nose with Quick Detail and install it. When I return home, I wipe down the bra with vinyl cleaner before taking it off the car and I brush out anthing that may have gotten on the felt around the openings. If there is a chance of rain, I don't use it. I have inspected my car VERY CLOSELY after each use and have never seen any sign of damage. I highly recommend one.

It takes me about 5 minutes to put it on and about 3 to take it off.

I don't think that I can post pictures for you since I am not a 'member'. Sorry.

Here are some photos of the Bra w/ opening for the Front License Plate. Yes, Texas does still require one.

I can't wear it anymore since I bought the Mingster IDi Front lip.

Here are a couple pics of The Bruised Banana profilin' with it's bra on I won't disagree that it kinda flunks up the beauty of the front end...but it serves the purpose you are asking of it. I don't ride with my bra on all the time...but then again, I often find myself a bit lazy & leave it on for weeks at a time. I wash the car at least once a week & flush water under the bra. I've no damage associated with the use of the bra. FYI, why not just take it off immediately? Why lazy? Well, its not the bra's fault (removal & installation takes all of 5 minutes. However, I also have a Coastal Metals grill insert & that takes its own time to additionally remove/insert each time I pull the bra.

All in all, I like it. I also like the vent openings on mine, shows off the front end *a little better*...but again, there's no mistaking that it takes away from the sexy lines of this car. It just also protects them. Its a toss-up for some.

w1ngman,

Great pics'. Were did you purchase the bra at?
Top Notch is not listed as one of our sponsors now.

Does anyone know if any other sponsor sells them?

Thanks

Just checked out the Colgan web site and now they have
a carbon fiber vinyl bra. Sent an email to see what price.
