not even close
This is my follow up to my post yesterday about needing help on purchase.
Took the s2k out today for extended drive. First time VTEC and first time with Honda. I have heard the other comparisons and thought that yes M3 and 350Z would be good alternatives.
I don't want to piss off the faithful but after 30 min with the car I don't see any comparison. The M3, while incredible, is not as "fun" and tossable and the 350Z is just not fun and fat. I wonder if my enthusiasm is real or just a newbie with VTEC and will wear off. The MR that I was set to buy is now a memory. This reving and reving is just addicting and the sound
So I am going to purchase the s2K.
06 are still on the lots along with 07s so I am going to offer invoice for an 06. If they won't take then I will by used. Would like the VSA though.
People mention that the car is scary in the rain but if I get an 06 with VSA and traction I should be good.
Thanks

I like the M3. It's faster than a stock S2K and of course more luxurious. But of course, I would never sell my S2K. Although I have been thinking of getting something else.
hey fonzy, nice sig. How do you like the Fit. Nice color choice too!

It can be a handful in the wet but no more so than any other lightweight car with wide tires and the power to spin 'em. It seems to be a bigger issue with those who are not use to the mannerisms of RWD. Drive conservative in the wet and you'll be fine.

Wait until it starts to turn cold (not long now) and you will find dealers much more willing to negotiate a lower price for a convertible.
If you should decide to buy an eariler model keep in mind that 03's and earlier VTEC a little longer than 04's and up.

so you shold be able to get lower than invoice as well,
especially since its model year-end

It's real and only grows as you bond with the car.
