hehe this was a close one guys, i had these tires taken off today, they have 17726 miles on them! you can see the belt on both of them, and on the left tire parts of the belt were worn away!!!

for a second i thought the first photo was just a single tire with the water channel REALLY REALLY worn down...

Thats pretty bad. Worst thing is, you cannot see the inside extreme wear unless the wheels is cut all the way, so it goes un-noticed for a while. Mine looked very similar if not worse on my Si, the front ones had steel coming out on the insides on both sides. I was driving in the rain and could not stay in my lane, was really scary. From now on, i check my tires out more often.

Damn sumir, what the hell were you doing with such worn out tires on your S2K. That's just dangerous!!! Glad you got them replaced. Did you get new S-02s???

Just mount them reverse... You'll get atleast 5k more out of em.
