Hi, i'd just bought this NRG short hub, it says on the box is the right part number but when i uninstall my steering wheels, it seems that this NRG short hub wont fit to my steering column coz of that SRS reel & horn harness in there, coz the NRG hub just flat and no holes at all, are any of you guys have this NRG install in your s2k? please help, im not sure whether they send me wrong part. Thanks in advance.

 

So you are installing the NRG hub and an aftermarket steering wheel only? The NRG hub is designed for a quick release to be mounted. That will add the space you are looking for.

If the hub fits the column, you have the right part.

BTW, mine is Splash short hub + (made in Taiwan no brand) Quick release

you mean these right? Splash has a hole where you may tuck them in
NRG on NSX is like this

 

i'm pretty sure you have the right part.
you need to remove the SRS reel.

 

Thanks for all the replied, yes im installing that short hub with NRG quick release, i think the one i have is wrong part coz inside the box its got paper saying all the car what this hub for, which is for integra 94-up, civic 92-95, so it mean this hub that i received is the one for car without airbag


S9735, Yes...the hole that i need to run that SRS reel & the horn wires through the hub, the hub i had is just flat...

S2X, do i have to take out that SRS reel? i dont think i like that coz that mean i got no horn also.... ?
