is that because you couldn't afford nsx and now feel sad ending up with s2k?

Why compare two cars that are different?

One is a roadster and the other is an exotic mid-engine touring car. They are both from different era's and followed different design philosophys even though the same person designed both.
Why can't we compare the two cars? They are both performance oriented cars. It's not like we are comparing the S to a mini van. I hate it when people come in and say this is comparing apples to oranges. No it's not. People buy these cars for their performance (for the most part), so why not compare the performance of both?

cuz its easy to compare the performance...stock for stock the nsx is faster... performance comparison complete...now value for money and fun...well thats not easy...why pay 2-4 times the price for the same affect is what a lot of people are trying to grasp...thats where the intangibles of styling and heritage etc etc come into play

^^I completely understand your point.

But IMHO, comparing a roadster to a non-roadster is different. The performance characteristics of any two cars can always be compared.

I love the NSX, but I just see it so differently as a car compared to the s2k. IMHO, the s2k is still more raw.

The NSX looks and drives like it was designed in the 1980's....

After reading the thread on NSX prime I feel embarrased to be an S2k owner...

YOU took the thread down the dark path, not the NSX prime guys.

As of yet you have not even driven an NSX - so how can you possibly attempt to bash the car?

Do yourself a favor and take a test drive so you can make an INFORMED decision. Talking trash certainly won't help you make up your mind. The NSX is in another league from the S2K. It was designed as an exotic figher from the get go. The S2K had no such illustrious designs...
