The NSX at this point just isn't a great value as a sports car. It's a great car, exotic looking, resonable performance, etc., just very expensive for what you get.

The two cars also have slightly different strengths. The NSX is too heavy for 10/10ths canyon driving, but excels on the open road or at high speed tracks.

i wondered what happened to the thread. deleting it was kinda sad and insecure on their part.

after readin some more threads, it's obvious that many buy it for the uniqueness. which i can certainly understand, but that says nothing about how it drives compared to the s2k.

It's absurd that they deleted that thread. Talk about lame.

That's because you didn't read every thread, and just scanned through.
Not that it matters anyway, this is a freakin internet board people!
Don't let it define your lives...

FYI I actually took the time to read the entire thread before coming here to post....

I think it is deplorable to set up a thread to intentionally troll their board and get people riled up - for what?

If you really like/admire the NSX, why would you do such a thing? If you actually end up with one, do you think the people there will be helpful when you have issues?

I guess I have better things to do with my time....

i actually admire the OP for testing how secure the nsx owner were. if they didn't get defensive and riled up, than it would speak volumes about them. but als, they did.

I went form an 02 996 to a 91 NSX. Somebody stole my torque. Two weeks later, what a great car! Picked up an 07 S2000 for my wife. Someone stole my torque again! A few weeks later the wife is having problems finding the S2000 keys, they're in my pocket. The S2000 is a blast to drive.

I hated putting miles on the NSX. I never think about it with the S2000.

The NSX is no doubt a great car as is the S2000. If you want an attention whore the NSX wins hands down.

Have you driven one? It actually was designed in the late 80's which is how it came on the market in the early 90's....
Yes I have driven the NSX before, and I wasn't that impressed. Maybe had I driven one in 1991, I would have been like "WOW", but damn, it's basically 2008. I was more impressed when I drove the WRX Sti, Cayman, 911, and even my own SC'ed AP2 S2000.

I am well aware of when the NSX was designed, which basically explains why it drives like crap.

I don't see why anyone would have purchased one of these cars brand new in 2005 for over $90,000.

That ws NOT my intention... it BECAME my intention once I realized the kind of people I was dealing with.

I had always heard the NSX group was "sofisticated" and "mature."
Unfortunately, I came to the hard realization that this was not the case.

So... I F$%^ed with them.

Shoot me.
